About

Dr. Anastazja (Anastazie) Holecko was born in Saint Petersburg, raised in Poland, and has resided in Prague, Czech Republic, for the past sixteen years. Her encounter with Dr. Nida in 2004, during her medical studies in Poland, transformed her perspective on medical science. Consequently, she pursued studies in Traditional Tibetan Medicine alongside Western medicine. Following her relocation to Prague in 2008, she initially worked at the gastroenterology department, but after the birth of her children, she established a private alternative practice. She furthered her education at Functional Medicine University, US and became a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, as well as a Nutritional Therapist.

Anastazja established Czech and Polish branches of Sorig Khang International and supervised four-year TTM studies in both countries. She was also the chief editor of the Sowa Rigpa Journal/TTM Journal for over twelve years. From a young age, she has been fascinated by meditation and the mind work, which helped immensely during challenging periods of her life. She now leads Vitality Retreats based on Tibetan anti-aging protocols (Chudlen), integrating principles from Western medical science. Anastazja is also the creator of Tibetan Medicine App, the new resource for Tibetan yoga and medicine practice (https://tibetanmedicine.ymove.app).

Chudlen Herbs: Enhancing Vital Energy and Hormonal Health

Is there a link between vital energy and hormones? How can we restore joy and enhance both mental and physical well-being in this era marked by burnout and depression? The rejuvenating protocols of Sowa Rigpa, known as Chudlen, detail specific methods and herbal remedies to achieve this. Literally translated, Chudlen means taking the essence, referring to the essence of the five elements and vital energy.

During this presentation, we will delve into one of Tibetan medicine renowned formulas, Five Roots or known as Tsava Nga in Tibetan. Its rejuvenating, tonifying, and energizing properties are frequently referenced across Four Medical Tantras. Moreover, we will explore how Western medicine explains the potent effects of Chudlen herbs, particularly from the standpoint of sexual hormones and neurotransmitters. I will also share insights gleaned from clinical practice, Chudlen retreats for women, and introduce a new resource for incorporating Tibetan medicine into home care routines.
